• 04/22 (khai): Actually, I realized that what we claimed in the proposal that "there are significant differences between Android platform stack and the conventional desktop Linux stack" and "Android is not Linux" are not correct. The android kernel is a linux kernel with a few patches on top of it. They changed 75 files and added an additional 88 files to Linux 2.6.25.

My next plan is to pick up some of these modules, read the source code to see what features they have changed or added and how they function in the mobile enviroment. I prefer Low Memory Killer, Power Management, IPC Binder.
